THE RESET
Royal Oak Retreat is a secluded A-frame, hidden in the Virginia forest and built for one thing: slowing all the way down. This is a wellness cabin in the real sense, a genuinely non-toxic space wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows, where the trees are always in the room with you.

THE CONTRAST RITUAL
Your own private wellness circuit waits on the deck. Warm up in the Scandinavian-style sauna until the week loosens its grip. Step into the cold plunge, three sharp breaths and you're fully present, inflammation down, mind quiet. Then sink into the hot tub beneath an open sky and let it all go. Run the ritual at dusk and you'll sleep like the dead. This is the part guests come back for.

YOUR DAYS HERE
Mornings are slow: organic Peruvian coffee or a ceremonial matcha on the deck in the mountain mist, maybe a fox at the tree line. Afternoons are yours: the DMV's best wineries are minutes away (guests love the nearby Crimson Lane Vineyard), Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive are at the bottom of the mountain, and a short drive reaches the trails at Sky Meadows. Or don't leave at all! That's allowed, and encouraged. Evenings end the way they should: run the ritual at dusk, then sink into the hot tub under stars you forgot existed.

THE CABIN
Thoughtfully designed and genuinely restful. A main bedroom with a king, plus a loft with a queen (reached by a spiral staircase), sleeping up to 4. One bath. Connection card games made for unplugging together, and blazing-fast Starlink internet so you can work remotely and stay the week if you want. EV charger on site.

NOTHING HERE IS BY ACCIDENT
This is a true wellness space, right down to the materials. You sleep on Helix mattresses with Avocado pillows and OEKO-TEX organic-cotton linens. Water is reverse-osmosis filtered, on tap. Cookware is non-toxic, paper goods are bamboo, wood and paper are FSC-certified, and the candles are soy. Every soap and shampoo is free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrance, dyes, and preservatives. Six organic essential oils are yours, in the diffuser inside, or poured over the sauna stones.

STOCKED FOR SLOW MORNINGS
You could make every meal here, and you'll want to. The kitchen comes with organic Peruvian coffee (with coconut sugar and creamer), ceremonial-grade matcha and a whisk set, organic extra-virgin olive oil, a blender for smoothies, an air-fryer, a toaster, baking trays, and mixing bowls — all non-toxic. Robes, slippers, and a proper hair dryer are waiting. And when you want to go all in, our traveling massage therapist will come to the cabin.

WHO IT'S FOR
This is an adults-first retreat, ideal for couples, a solo reset, or families/friends who need to exhale. It's quiet, private, and a little wild. Come for a few days. One night here always feels too short.

**GUEST ACCESS**
The entire cabin and all of its amenity spaces are private and yours alone. The sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, deck. No shared spaces, no other guests, no host on site. Just you and the forest.

**GUEST INTERACTION**
We're a quick message away whenever you need us (we typically reply within the hour) and otherwise leave you completely to your reset. Self check-in by smart lock means you arrive on your own schedule.

**NEIGHBORHOOD / WHERE YOU'LL BE:**
You're tucked into the forest near Front Royal, in Warren County, the gateway to the Shenandoah Valley and the heart of Virginia wine country. Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive are at the bottom of the mountain; the trails at Sky Meadows State Park are a short drive; and the DMV's top wineries are just minutes from the cabin. Town is close enough for supplies, far enough that all you hear at night is quiet.

You will have private access to your cabin!

All amenity spaces are also private!

• Loft access is by spiral staircase; the main bedroom (king) is on the main level if stairs aren't for you.
• The driveway is steep; a 4x4/AWD is required in winter, and stays may be affected by heavy snow.
• Pet-friendly for one dog under 50 lb ($100/stay; please tell us in advance and bring a crate for when you're out).
• Sauna and hot tub are warmed for your arrival — give the sauna time to reach full heat.
